Ever wanted to turn a simple block of clay into a unique, handmade treasure? Join us for a new weekly Pottery for Beginners course.

Our tutor will guide you through a programme of handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling, and slabbing. You will also learn to decorate your pots by stamping, engraving , adding sprigs and glazing.

​We provide all the clay, tools and glazes. A modest fee is charged for firing work produced in class.

​Spots are limited, so early booking is recommended to reserve your place.

Duration: 10 week term, finishing on 1 December with a half term break the week of 26 October
Cost: £106, plus the annual membership fee of £15

For a change I got my class painting paper fans today! I chose Matisse as our inspiration as we are looking at fauvism.
