Emily Thornton School of Dance Emily Thornton School of Dance was set up in September 2011. Dance classes run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Subjects taught are Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro and Street.

We boogied the night away celebrating ETSD and VISION with tattoos, cake, games and colouring. We loved seeing all your lovely faces. Keep your eyes peeling for all our content coming in the next few weeks👀

Looking for a fun, lively activity for your little one starting this September? We are so excited to introduce our brand-new Tiny Jazz class at Emily Thornton School of Dance! 🎶✨

Perfect for mini dancers aged 3 to 5, this high-energy class is all about having fun, building confidence, and letting their unique personalities shine! Through upbeat music and playful movement, we'll teach them the basics of musicality and performance in a warm, welcoming environment.

📅 When: Saturdays (Starting September!)
⏰ Time: 10:30 - 11:00
👤 Age: 3 - 5 years

Our Thursday Beginners Adult Tap class is all about having fun, building confidence, learning at your own pace, and having plenty of giggles along the way. Seeing this wonderful group support each other and look forward to their studio time each week brings so much warmth to our hearts! 💜💫

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to our September timetable at Emily Thornton School of Dance! Introducing our brand-new Grade 1 Modern class! 💃🌟

Perfect for dancers aged 6 to 8 years, this class is a fantastic way to develop musicality while introducing the absolute fundamentals of core stability, flexibility, and coordination. It's the ideal space for young dancers to build strong technique, grow their confidence, and have a brilliant time doing it!
