Mary Morton from Edinburgh Street Stitchers and author of Stitch it don't ditch it gave us a wonderful talk last week about her stitching work and how this helps raise awareness about our climate and the impact that our behaviours have on climate change. Mary brought us to a deeper understanding of the importance of addressing climate change alongside the stitching changes that we can make to support a better future. Earlier in December our Chair Patricia West and Helen Chappell led us in a lovely evening of Christmas jumper, decoration making. Patricia had made some wonderful samples and we all left with either a completed decoration or a fabulous work in progresss to complete at home. These lovely jumpers are all now helping to decorate our homes and bring cheer this Christmas.
