Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Nativity on Sunday! It was a truly glorious event, filled with joy and wonderful moments as families, children, grandparents, and friends came together.
A special thank you to the Moores family for hosting us once again and transforming their barn with bales and a big golden star and twinkling lights. We are also grateful to The Wreckers Coast Choir for sharing their beautiful music and adding to the festive spirit and leading the singing.
Our thanks go to Highford Donkey Activities,Clovelly for joining in and bringing so much cheer, and to all the amazing actors and actresses who some who embraced the challenge of performing the Nativity with no prior experience—alongside our talented narrators: Sam, Bob Meeson and Harrison Boswell. Thank you to Rev. Jane Skinner for leading the event so beautifully.
We must also recognize the incredible ladies and gentleman who worked tirelessly over two days to prepare refreshments and organize everything behind the scenes—chairs, cups, drinks, coffee, cake, and hot chocolate! And a big shout-out to our Woolsery Youth Club volunteers who helped serve with smiles.
Finally but no means least, thank you to Smallridge Bros Ltd for the loan of the Tractor to pull Bude Grassland Trailer to bring everyone to the event, we thank Richard Shearing for being so supportive in driving the tractor back and forth - we think four times full of people.
If you missed the Nativity, do not fret Welcombe Church have theirs at 5pm Barn/Walking Nativity at Welcombe. Meet at the The Old Smithy Inn and on Monday 22nd at 6.00pm is the Nativity Live (in a barn) Melbury Farm.
