Huge well done to all our dancers who completed their ISTD Ballet exams today 🩰✨

Every dancer stepped into the exam room with confidence, determination and beautiful ballet technique. We are so proud of all the hard work, commitment and perseverance you’ve shown 👏🏼

A huge thank you to Miss Hodder, our Head of Ballet, for all the time, dedication and expertise she puts into preparing our dancers. Your passion and encouragement help every student achieve their very best, and we are so grateful for everything you do 💛

A huge thank you as well to all of our parents and families for your support throughout the exam season. From getting dancers to and from classes, extra exam lessons and mock exams, to encouraging them every step of the way, your dedication is greatly appreciated💫

Now it’s time to relax and celebrate all your achievements. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you ⭐️

So lovely seeing the younger girls looking up to the seniors 😍

Watching them at the window completely focused, taking in every exercise, every correction and every movement, dreaming of the day they’ll be in those ballet classes themselves 🩰✨

The older dancers really are such wonderful examples to the younger ones. They notice everything - their hard work, dedication, focus and kindness, and the way they carry themselves in class each week. They inspire the next generation more than they probably realise, and it’s so lovely to see the respect and admiration between all ages within the school 💛

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for all your dedication, focus and effort leading up to exam week ⭐️

Now onto Ballet exams on Sunday 🩰✨

A successful and very busy last few days over half term ✨

Charlotte performed her socks off at the Finals in Cheltenham 🤩 What an incredible experience and achievement to qualify in the Top 10 in the region at only her 3rd ever competition 👏🏼

Meanwhile back in Taunton at , Evie and Nieve performed their lyrical solos beautifully, with Evie achieving 3rd place out of 21 dancers 🥉

Evie and Dynasty then gave it heaps of attack and performance in their modern solos, with Evie achieving 1st place in a huge section of 24 dancers 🥇 Evie also gained 2nd place in her tap solo in another very busy section 🥈

Mila, Charlotte and Hanna performed their tap solos amazingly, while Mila also performed her ballet and modern solos. Evie and Nieve also performed their ballet solos ✨

It’s so wonderful to see such a high standard of talent across the South West 👏🏼 Super proud of everyone. Their hard work, resilience, passion and love for what they do is incredible ❤️

We’ve also had extra exam rehearsals and mock exams running all weekend, cramming in as much as we can before our upcoming ballet, modern and tap exams - over 70 exams in total 😅 Their dedication and commitment is truly paying off ⭐️

Dynasty also had a fantastic time at the Dancer Wellness Experience, which sounds like such a positive and inspiring experience promoting dancer wellbeing 💫

And to finish off the week, filming self-tape acting auditions with Florrie this evening 🎬✨ It’s been a non-stop week full of fantastic experiences and opportunities for everyone involved 💛

Bring on the next half term of classes starting Monday 1st June 🤩✨

Fantastic few days so far at Taunton Festival of the Arts - Dance and the All England Dance Regional Finals in Cheltenham ✨

A huge congratulations to Florrie, Evie and Bella for placing 2nd 🥈 with their 15 & Under Cabaret Trio, and to Millie-Rae and Hanna for achieving 3rd 🥉 with their 10 & Under Ballet Duet at Taunton Festival 🏅

We’ve also seen fantastic performances from Florrie, Olivia, Nieve and Yana at Taunton Festival 👏🏼

A special mention to Evie, who performed her tap solo beautifully at the All England Regional Finals, making it into the Top 10 in the region - an incredible achievement. The standard and talent at All England is truly phenomenal ✨
