Combat Through the Ages

Combat Through the Ages Combat Through the Ages was formed as part of the Jousting Association to offer a wider range of period based activities.

Combat Through the Ages have fifty years experience in presenting period themed entertainment and have performed throughout the world in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators, including royalty and state leaders. Our performers are a mixture of professionals, ranging from Movie and TV Stunt Performers, Live Action Performers and Trained Actors. All of whom have many years experience in perf

orming in front of the public in a safe and controlled way. The performances presented are a clear representation of the periods covered. Both costumes and content are thoroughly researched, to help give a better understanding of the past, while balancing this with the audience's expectations of the 'Hollywood' version of our long heritage. All these elements meet to give an exciting and entertaining experience.

Who was victorious from the Legendary Joust at Pendennis Castle?
After three days of competition the results are as follows:

Skills Tournament saw the Knight of the Wyvern take top honours, with a total of 42 points.
The Knight of the Wildman in 2nd place with 34 points.
3rd was the Knight of Sir Lancelot with 30 points.
In 4th place was the Knight of the Argo with 25 points.

The Joust was closer than the points show. With the Knight of the Wildman taking two victories, and the Knight of Sir Lancelot taking victory on the last day. But consistancy in the runner up position kept the Knight of the Wyvern in contention up to the end. But in the end victory went to The Knight of Wildman, on 41 points.
2nd was the Knight of the Wyvern on 38 points.
Solid point scoring saw The Knight of the Argo take 3nd with 33 points.
The Knight of the Sir Lancelot placed 4th with 16 points.

Many thanks to the fantastic crowds who gave their enthusiastic support to all our Knights in a truly hard hitting competiton.

We are proud to annouce that Combat Through the Ages will once again be presenting the Legendary Joust at Pendennis Castle, near Falmouth, Cornwall on the 4th, 5th and 6th of August. Four Knights representing Heros and Legends from our long, rich heritage will be competing against each other in this fully competitive Jousting Tournment. Will you support the Knight of the Argo, the Knight of Sir Lancelot, the Knight of the Wyvern or the Knight of the Wildman?
