🎶 MEET THE DUO — MAX & VERONICA🎶

We’re incredibly excited to welcome the award-winning Max De Bernardi and Veronica Sbergia to The Old Foundry on Saturday 19th September, as part of their 2026 UK Tour!

Max & Veronica are among Europe’s leading ambassadors of early American roots music. Together, they bring the sounds of the 1920s and ’30s roaring back to life through country blues, ragtime, early jazz and hillbilly music—served with warmth, humour and wonderful storytelling.

Max began his musical journey as a young street performer before taking his remarkable fingerpicking guitar style to stages and blues festivals across Europe. Veronica is an award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist whose rich, expressive voice is steeped in the traditions of early blues and jazz. With **Veronica & The Red Wine Serenaders**, she won the **European Blues Challenge in 2013**.

Together, they have released nine albums and built a reputation for concerts filled with outstanding musicianship, playful banter and genuine chemistry. This isn’t simply music to sit and politely observe—it’s music with character, history and soul.

We are absolutely delighted that The Old Foundry, Bideford, is officially included on their September 2026 UK tour.

We’re doing something a little different at The Old Foundry this September…

Chef Duet will be outside from 6pm, serving a special Louisiana-inspired street food menu before the live blues gets underway at 9pm.

On the menu will be:

🔥 Cajun Chicken & Andouille Sausage Jambalaya
🌱 Cajun Vegetable Jambalaya
🔥 Slow-Smoked Brisket Rolls with Slaw & Pickles
🥧 Pecan Pie

Come down early, grab something hot to eat and a drink, then settle in for an evening of live blues.
