We are truly heartbroken to announce that our long serving band member, friend and colleague Steve Smith passed away in the early hours of January 15th 2025.

We are shocked and devastated at the loss of our funny, loyal and truly humourous bassist, who was just the loveliest person as well as being a fantastic musician.

Steve became a member of the band in 1997 and we've had many adventures in our time together. Steve wore many hats, acting as occassional agent, band fixer, cruise adviser and 'Sherpa' in many ports around the world.

We really can't believe it's all over so soon and we must say our final goodbye to '610 Oxford Office'.

Reunited with the lovely Mrs Katy Smith who also left us far too early. We send much love to their daughter Florence and other family members at this sad and difficult time.

Steve's funeral will take place at North Oxfordshire Crematorium & Memorial Park on Wednesday 12th February 2025 at 12 Noon and afterwards, at the Victoria Arms in Old Marston to share many a tale of such a lovely, popular man.

RIP Steve. You will be sorely missed. 😢💔
