We’re excited to introduce the final three speakers completing our AGM & Members Showcase line-up on 28 May, 10–2 at the John Paul II Centre.

You’ll hear from:
- Paul Wheatley (Bicester Town Council) on becoming the new Mayor of Bicester and his vision for the year ahead.
- Rachel Wood (Sladen Estates) on the current development challenges at their Bicester Arc site.
- Berny Auton (HMP Bullingdon Community Connections) on building powerful community connections with HMP Bullingdon.

Together with our first three speakers, they’ll offer a rich mix of civic, commercial and community perspectives on how Bicester can continue to thrive.

Last Monday, Bicester Town Council held its annual Mayor Making ceremony.

We took the opportunity to thank our outgoing Mayor, Cllr Alisa Russell, for her dedicated service over the past year. During the evening, Cllr Russell presented Good Citizen Awards to deserving members of our community and handed over cheques to the two charities she supported during her mayoral year: FLAG DV and The Hummingbird Centre .

We are delighted to welcome Cllr Dr Paul Wheatley as the new Mayor of Bicester and Cllr Dan Hallett as Deputy Mayor.

As part of the ceremony, Mayor Cllr Dr Paul Wheatley presented this year’s Grant Aid cheques to local organisations. During his mayoral year, he will be raising funds for Bicester Autism/ADHD and Forget me not, Bicester

We’re excited to reveal three of the six brilliant speakers joining us at the Bicester Vision AGM & Members Showcase on 28 May, 10–2 at the John Paul II Centre.

You’ll hear from:
- Steve Thornton (BRITA) on BRITA’s history and lean journey
- Helen Joy (People Spark) on why technology alone won’t save your business
- Kevin Coolin (Siemens Healthineers) on the history of MRI in Oxfordshire

These are just half of the voices you’ll hear on the day, with more fantastic speakers still to be announced.
