There are two stages to a wedding photobooth…

STAGE ONE :
“Ohhh shall we just get a nice one?” 🥰

STAGE TWO (APPROX 45 MINS LATER) :
“WHERE’S THE GIANT HAT? GET EVERYONE IN. NO, EVERYONE. STEVE, GET OVER HERE.” 😂

Yesterday’s wedding at the gorgeous Michelham Priory House & Gardens was very much giving stage two energy and we are HERE FOR IT. 📸

There’s just something about a Selfie Booth that brings out a completely different side of wedding guests — the people who swear they’re “not really photo people” somehow end up coming back five times with increasingly questionable prop choices. 👀

And THAT is exactly why we love it.

The elegant venue.
The beautiful outfits.
The carefully planned wedding aesthetic.

…and then someone sticks something ridiculous on their head and all dignity is officially abandoned. 😂

📸 A completely normal, sophisticated wedding celebration…

Swipe ➡️ Nope. Never mind. 😂

It started reasonably enough.

Then someone found a sequin hat.
Someone else became a pint.
The traffic cones were deployed.
And before long, approximately 14 people were attempting to occupy the same square metre of photobooth.

This is the bit of weddings we absolutely LOVE.

There’s something ridiculously funny about watching fully grown, beautifully dressed wedding guests walk past our prop table, hesitate for approximately 0.4 seconds and then decide:
“Yes. Tonight I shall wear a giant b**r on my head.”

And honestly? Correct decision. 👏😂

Mr & Mrs Woodward’s wedding at The Manor Barn, Bexhill was an absolute BELTER — and judging by these photos, their guests require very little encouragement.

Congratulations you two 🤍

We’ve had a few new faces join us recently, so we thought we should probably introduce the two people behind Call Memories… 👋

We’re Claire & James — husband and wife, professional memory makers, booth builders, prop wranglers and the people responsible for encouraging your wedding guests to leave messages they may slightly regret the following morning. 😂

Call Memories is our little family-run business based in Bexhill, East Sussex, travelling across Sussex, Kent & beyond bringing the fun to weddings, parties and events.

Everyone deserves to be part of the fun — and part of the memories! ♿️📸✨

We want our photo booths to be as welcoming and accessible as possible, which is exactly why we love our open-air Selfie Booth.

There’s no cramped enclosed booth to squeeze into. Its open setup provides plenty of space for wheelchair users, seated guests, children and bigger groups to get together, strike a pose and enjoy the experience.

Because nobody should have to watch the fun from the sidelines. The best memories are the ones that include everyone. 🖤
