Only a small group took part in the new Step to the Stars Dance Festival last weekend but so proud that they were all invited to take part in the championship sections.

The small group of students who took part in the Kidderminster Festival had a great time and brought back a great batch of trophies. Now we are back to class and I’m very pleased that two of my former pupils are now joining us as student teachers. Welcome on board Mia and Amy Poultney. It’s great to have you both by my side.

This year we say goodbye to one of our senior students, Remy Freeman. It is always sad for us when a Severnsider moves on but we can’t help but be excited for her as she moves on to University of Chichester to study for a BA ( Hons) in Dance, Aerial and Physical Theatre. Definitely aiming high. Remy has worked hard whilst she has been at Severnside, majoring in Classical Ballet and Modern Jazz thus gaining UCAS points to augment her BTEC in Dance that she has achieved at Kidderminster College. We wish her well for the future ❤️
