Another event to get excited about now there is no Hopfest...

Roots at The Rustic Kitchen 🎵 Friday 30th (Tomorrow!)

Arcadia Roots were a highlight of Hopfest every year that they playe, and so you Hopfest regulars will know what a good gig this should be! They'll also have support from Electric Pollen and will both be playing in the beer garden of The Rustic 🍻

Music kicks off at 7PM - no bookings, free to anyone, just turn up.

This time last year we were gearing up for our beloved yearly festival here at Hopley's...

And what a final year for Hopfest it was! ❤️

Unfortunately this isn't a post telling you we're doing it all again but, we are hosting one of our 'Graze' events at The Rustic Kitchen on the same weekend! These events are totally FREE to enter and include all the good stuff - street food, drinks and live music - we're hoping the weather is as good as last year too 🤩🍔☀️

It's not Hopfest but it's still a fun weekend for all. Come along to The Rustic Kitchen Sat 7th & Sun 8th September - see you there 😍

Kid's disco and entertainment from 12pm, live music from 2pm, street food til 9pm, bar til 10pm 🍻

Out with a bang! 🙌

What a weekend that was ay?! Thanks to everyone for making the last Hopfest of it's kind so special. The weather might have helped slightly.... 😍☀️ but, of course it was all down to our incredible staff from Hopley's Family Camping and The Rustic Kitchen, our family and friends, acts, traders, suppliers, plus all the other volunteers and workers making this Hopfest one to remember! ❤️

And of course you guys, our loyal locals and Hopfest fans turning up for another party down the field. The community that Hopfest has created will always be special and will be hugely missed. It makes all the hard work worth it to see the same faces and families come back every year - it shows us we must be doing something right! 🍻

All this because Leo and his band mates wanted to play at a festival! So Justin, Tony and Peter threw what was intended to be small, one-off gathering... 13 years down the line we ended up with a festival for thousands of locals that creates an exciting buzz around the town each year, and has given opportunities to so many young people, local artists and businesses.

Thanks again for a wonderful 13 years - it's given us some of our favourite memories and looking back makes us feel very proud of what we've all achieved ❤️

But don't worry, there's not too much time to be sad, Hopfest-on-Fire is only round the corner! 🎇
4th and 5th November - save the date 🗓

With some sadness it's time we announce that this will be the last year for our beloved festival... 😔

After 12 years we've come to the decision, as a family and company, that we won't be continuing with Hopfest of this size after 2023. Although this event provides great entertainment for locals as well as opportunities for the community, it also requires a huge amount of time, money and sweat from us.

We feel there are other styles of events we'd like to focus on going forward which we hope you'll enjoy just as much. And this isn't a marketing ploy, we just thought we'd best let you know so you don't miss out on the last dance down the field! ❤️

Here's 2 acts we're really excited about this year...

We super pleased to have The Neil Coley Big Band returning for the second year in a row 🎺
It was a wonderful introduction to the schedule when the 16 member band played last year at Hopfest. A totally different addition that turned out to fit the festival perfectly; being such a versatile band they appeal to all ages, providing swing, latin, blues classics alongside many modern pop classics. Something for the whole family! 🙌

And our headliners for 2023 - Seas Of Mirth! 🐙
Seas of Mirth emerged out of maritime-based songwriting and rum guzzling and the in-yer-face erratic nature of their live shows are certain to intrigue! They have been stamping their own mark on modern music for the last decade, mixing up styles and genres while also being known for their aquatic twist. With their extensive instrumental checklist, the sonic span widens into areas of psyche, dark funk, jazz, disco, ambient, latin, club beats and chime-pop. We can't wait to see them on the main stage! 😍

Once a year The Mothership comes in to land at Hopfest and it's a spectacle thats hard to describe 👀 It's a highlight of the festival every time and an incredible finale to the weekend. If you've witnessed it before you'll know it's an experience like know other which is guaranteed to get the whole family singing and dancing! 💃 And if you haven't been lucky enough to observe the display then this is your warning to prepare for take-off! 🚀
