It's with a heavy heart I let you know that Chris Hand... who with little time to learn his lines, stepped in and stepped up to play the Genie in our panto.... passed away last Tuesday.

Chris was a rock in our little crew, gave his all to his performance and genie-us inventor of our flying carpet. Always smiling, always supportive. We couldn't have wished for a better Genie.

We love you and will miss you Chris. You were a real trooper! One of the golden threads in our shoestring panto.

Our pantomime fundraiser made a whopping £1,509.76 which will now be donated to Kemp Hospice & Victim Support.

Well, we've had the final curtain call.... even though we had no curtains 😆 and a great time was had by all. A BIG thank you to our marvellous team of people, who all worked extremely hard to make this happen in little over 6 weeks (including Christmas 😱) .. some of the cast had less than 3 weeks to learn their lines.

And another big thank you to those who helped backstage, front of house and to those who loaned or donated the things we needed. This truly did bring the community together, right in the middle of Bewdley 😁 We raised a fair amount for Kemp Hospice & Victim Support and we'll let you know how much as soon as we have the final figures.

What a fundraiser eh? We hope you enjoyed it ###x

Does anyone have a red chiffon scarf or fabric remnant we could use. It's all we need to complete what is turning out to be a beautiful costume, thanks to the support we've received so far. Loving how the community is coming together for a charitable cause :D xx
