Good morning Thursday from a sweltering RiverBank where Ccino is still being very vocal in protest to the fans being on! Can't say I'm feeling at my best this morning after a disturbed night .. and no doubt many of you are feeling the same!

Our card for today is 6 Swords .. and my immediate reaction to this was that there is a struggle or doubt about a decision you've made and wondering if you have chosen the right way. The guidance here today is to stick with what you have decided and work on it even more .. its the right decision but you just have to persevere with it. Try not to overthink it .. just go with your plan!

I suspect I'm in for another confined day here .. just staying in the cool. Work on the computer is slow and arduous as it too is suffering from the heat even with a fan pointing at its guts but I will soldier on!! Have a good day and look after yourselves.

Welcome to Wednesday on Costa del RiverBank!! Air con on full by 6.30am after having fans on all night. I know we are all suffering in this heat, but it is what it is, and we have to make the best of it!

Our card of the day seems appropriate for all the wrong reasons! The Hermit! Not to be seen as battening down the hatches to stay safe in the heat .. although that works for me!! A reflective card where there appears to be a need to isolate oneself from the hub-bub around us .. stop listening to others around you and the colourful input they have on your life .. be able to listen to your own inner self and re-organise thoughts and bring balance back to your mind. Seeking answers which are deep within yourself and learning to trust what you feel. This would be a valuable exercise and today you may get that chance!

Well, I'm going nowhere and doing nothing today other than trying to pacify Ccino who strongly objects to fans being on everywhere and is constantly around my ankles bleating her head off!! She has the option of the fanless 2nd bedroom .. but no - she's not up for that! I wish you all a good day, making the best of whatever circumstances you are having to deal with. Take care!

It's Tuesday! It's hot ... and it's just 6:30 am! I suspect many of you in the UK are up already having had a very disturbed night due to the heat. Luckily I have air con in the bedroom but was rudely awoken at 3am by a loud knock on the window! Got up, opened the front door ... nothing! Aren't dreams wonderful!!

Onwards ... our card for today is the 3 Swords. Swords tend to talk about our minds .. our logic .. calculating .. facts .. figures .. mental attitudes to life. I would think there is a need to re-assess a matter you have held firmly in your mind .. give it the chance to breath and formulate a different view! Don't be so rigid! Allow your mind to be creative to enable an alternative way forward. If the problem needs it, then perhaps forming a bit of a 'think tank' with others could come up with useful suggestions!

Have you all received your Keir Starmer emblazoned fold up wheelchair? His leaving gift to pensioners! Lucky me! I got two! Aren't dreams wonderful! Oh .. and fish and chips are £3 19s. 6d. 🥹 Must be something I'm putting in my v**e! 🤣🤣 Have a great day and take care of yourselves - probably inside for most of it. Good morning Monday, and welcome to a new working week. What a warm weekend and the farmer has taken advantage and mowed the field behind me. I've been on the computer most of the time taking advantage of 'so so' good vision for a few hours!

Our card for today, featuring some of my latest work (do you like the new card backs?), is Queen Cups. A character of sympathy and empathy, this person may be you today. Taking a step back, considering all options regarding an emotional connection, there needs to be time taken weighing up the pro's and con's of a situation in order to formulate the best plan of action to satisfy all sides. Is someone asking you for help? Could be! Or are you trying to sort out a family or relationship situation? Take your time .. don't rush .. your wisdom and experience will help.

I colour code by Google calendar! I know .. I know .. a bit OTT. However, red denotes medical appointments .. Richard is orange .. gardener is green .. etc., etc. There is no red this week!! Yippee! I am about to close curtains and switch on air conditioning .. enjoy your day, but keep cool and safe!

Good morning! It's Friday .. and for me, I'm glad to be at the end of the week!! Looking forward to a peaceful weekend. Yesterday's hospital visit was .. 🤦‍♀️ .. frustrating! Car park angels weren't on duty so I abandoned car half on a pavement. I had a 3.15 appointment and finally saw consultant at 5.30! Car parking fee had well run out by then! Not doing this again! No intervention required but he would like more scans and tests. Really? Why bother if nothing to be done. I will bow out of this one gracefully and try and get on with my life!

Our card for today could involve a bit of effort! It's the 6 of Wands. Seems that the pursuit you may be on, following a passion or trying to complete an ambition, needs some extra input if progress is to be maintained. But at least you are motivated on this quest! Concentrate .. become a bit blinkered and focus on what exactly you want to achieve. Success is never easy and you will need to be consistent and persevere. Put in the hard work .. and success will follow .. one step at a time!

My daughter will collect me later as I have to have a 'dilated' eye test this morning .. 5th in 7 months .. hopefully today may pinpoint the issue which has dogged me for months. 🤞 Wishing you all a wonderful weekend making the most of some lovely weather we are promised!

Well Thursday is upon us already! Good morning! Weather is looking very mixed so not sure this is a day for the tub! Yesterday's outing was very pleasant even though we couldn't quite put the world to rights .. but we did try for several hours!!

Today's card is the King of Cups and it immediately struck me as "who is coming to you for help or guidance with their emotions today?" Someone sees you as having the knowledge and experience to help them with a situation close to their heart and they have enough trust in you to divulge their inner most thoughts. Be honoured and serve them well if you can. However, there is also the possibility that it is you who needs the guidance and laying your trust in someone you know with these qualities. A day of giving or receiving help and guidance. Hope it goes well.

I'm off to outpatients again today .. different department .. same delays and frustrations!! Will be talking to the car park angels before I go! See what this bunch has to say to me! Apart from that will continue to work on new project .. ancient and modern. You guessed it! Another deck! Can't help myself! Here's hoping we all have a good day!
