📣 Celebrating a Tallis Choral Foundation success!

The Tallis Choral Foundation is proud to announce that our choral scholar, Gabriel Rhodes, has secured a place on the Royal Academy of Music Vocal Studies undergraduate course, beginning this September.

Gabriel’s achievement reflects his dedication, musical insight, and consistent commitment to his vocal training. It has been a privilege to support his development, and we look forward to following his continued progress as a developing professional singer.

Warmest congratulations, Gabriel - very well deserved! 🎶✨

In three weeks, the Sounds of the Sistine Chapel will resonate and rebound in the wonder of the majestic nave of Tewkesbury Abbey.

At the centre of the programme is Palestrina's opus magnus - Missa Papae Marcelli, interspersed with the finest motets from his peers in Rome.

Crowning the evening is Gregorio Allegri's haunting Miserere mei, Deus, in an enlightening version displaying its evolution through the centuries, finally culminating in its infamous and spine-tingling high C.

Join us on this transcendent journey to Renaissance Rome under the colourful vaults of this medieval abbey, illuminated by flickering candlelight.
