SPOILER ALERT!!!

Here is a sneak preview of some rehearsal footage. The footage shows a run of the first 90 seconds of the show. Anyone wishing to avoid all spoilers should scroll past but feel free to leave a like and share.

The Tideline Runners Theatre Company will bring the world premiere to Maltings Berwick on 18th February!

The first 90 seconds of our new show shot on a mobile phone annoyingly close to the actors' heads.

Casting announcement.

We are delighted to announce that Richard Keach will be making his Tideline Runners debut in the role of Tom, Henry's big-hearted uncle.

Richard is the lead singer of the soul funk band Crown of Feathers who is known for his fantastic vocal performances and comedic wit. He is also a fabulous artist and we have tagged his art Insta on his picture (make sure you check that out too)

We are beyond chuffed that he has joined our cast and can't wait to begin working with him.

(Re-) casting announcement:

Due to the rescheduled dates of our show resulting from Covid19 restrictions, some of our original cast members are no longer available to take on their roles. It does mean we get to see them in other shows next year which is exciting.

So, Electric Penelope herself, Anna Emmins is taking over the role of Emma Babbett and Ms Drake. Anna has one previous credit with Tideline Runners in our debut show. One decade later, we are super excited to be working with her again.

Human Interest Stories (2012)

Here's a stupendously underused Anna Emmins in her role as Eunice Grecian in Human Interest Stories. Amma will be returning to Tideline Runners in 2022 in Why Henry Is SO Weird playing Ms Drake, the put upon teacher at Henry's school AND Emma who plays a major role in the second act of the play.

Why Henry Is SO Weird opens in February 2022

WORLD PREMIER: 18.2.22

18/11/2020

It's national theatre day. So I suppose today is as good a day as any to announce the Why Henry Is So Weird will finally premier in February 2022.

I promise you that we will all work super hard to make the long wait worth it.
