Rookery View Hall - Benfleet

10/06/2026

Rookery View Hall bookings LIVE again. Finally, we have our new booking system back up and live for Rookery View Hall - Benfleet and the garden area. Thank you to our very patient community who have been frustrated and disappointed not to be able to book the hall easily. It has been rather a struggle to get everything moved over after our old booking system was retired.

However, we are live and back up and running! Many thanks

Following complaints about fireworks at the hall we would like to issue this statement .

Whilst our booking conditions do not state fireworks are not allowed, it would be impossible to list everything that could be cause of complaint by anyone in the local area.

The sale and setting off of fireworks in the UK is legal and also a UK tradition. Some people like them and some don’t.

Despite our efforts, we cannot control every person using the hall own personal preferences as to how they choose to celebrate family occasions, especially when this is not at a time deemed unsociable hours.

From a safety point of view however, We will add it to our booking information for future to ensure risk of damage or fire of surrounding areas are protected. In 13 years it has never been an issue and are sure it is an isolated incident.

Kind regards

ROOKERY VIEW HALL.
