The studio's Petrof upright piano has had a tune-up and a couple of its strings replaced in preparation for some recording sessions that it will be used for throughout this week. Many thanks to piano tuner Mark Spurgeon for providing a great service and expert advice. A few pics from a recent guitar recording session. Here we have a Fender Mustang guitar being played through a vintage Pro Reverb amp, via the ProCo Rat pedal. The signal was split and also sent to the Champ amp via an Ibanez Tube Screamer pedal.

I have been compiling a vocal reel for vocalist Billie-Lee who is a regular here at the studio. Going for a retro vibe on this particular track with a cover of Patsy Cline's 'Leaving On Your Mind'. I'm looking forward to further recording sessions of Billie-Lee's, and also getting her in for some session work for other clients of mine.
