WOW! what an absolutely Amazing weekend! By far my busiest and longest weekend of the year! After finishing breaking down the rest of my equipment yesterday (Monday) and resting for the rest of the day, I am now fully recovered (I think! 🤣) from what has been an EPIC weekend!
A HUGE thank you for Max Workman, the events manager at the Folly Inn for putting your trust in me to host, DJ and supply all the sound and lighting equipment for what was definitely the biggest and best Folly Fest ever! Thank you also to ALL the Management and staff at the Folly as they have worked long hours and so hard over the past few days. A massive thank you to Mick from M&T Marquees for the marquee, stage and stage lighting (when it worked! 🤣🤣), it saved me having to bring extra lights myself for the stage.
A very big thank you to ALL the customers who came, took part and enjoyed themselves so much and especially for all the donations to Macmillan Cancer Support, we raised a record breaking amount of just over £2600! 👏👏
The biggest shout out goes to all the Local islands artists, duos and bands who have their time for such a great cause to perform at Folly Fest 2026 as without them, it wouldn't have been what it was! You were all absolutely fantastic and thank you for putting your trust in me to connect through my sound equipment for yourselves to play through, I have to admit, you ALL sounded fantastic through my system!

,Get yourselves down to the Folly Inn this weekend for an amazing couple of days off music, fun, great atmosphere along with food and drinks!
Kicking off from 12 noon today and tomorrow with myself DJing and also hosting and playing music throughout the day between artists before closing the day with a DJ set until late on both days.
Today's line up, we start off with the amazing acoustic performer, Ben Stubbs taking to the stage followed by the fantastic female vocal duo, Diva-Licious Duo then a lively set entertaining you all with Hodge and Allen before our final act of the day, with your summery reggae hits, the islands 'Yeah man', Derek Sandy!
Tomorrow, we kick off with the brilliant JustDebs.Sax and DJ, mingling amongst the crowd with her saxophone creating a great atmosphere, getting you dancing to some absolute anthems that shall get the crowd rocking nice and early. The truly wonderful and energetic solo singer, Emellia will then take to the stage performing some of the greatest hits for you to sing along and dance to before our headline band this year, that if you haven't already danced enough yet, will really keep you up on your feet, dancing and singing along to all those classic well known songs, the catchiest, Catch 22!
There will also be some well worth a watch and joining in with the team at the Folly taking part in activities including leg waxing, sponging the Management (I hope they've brought spare clothes! 💦💦🤣🤣) and Max, the events manager shaving all his hair off! 😱
There is also a Huge raffle with some fantastic top prizes to be won, including a FREE disco for ANY occasion!
This is set to be one truly amazing weekend and at the same time, raising money for a fantastic charity, Macmillan Cancer Support
Get yourselves down, enjoy food, drink, some great acts and the best atmosphere of the weekend. See you later!

Yesterday saw the wedding of Vicky and Tom and what a fantastic day and night it was! Along with my DJ set up, I had extra equipment for a band to be able to plug in and play through my sound system. They also hired the extra speakers and mics to the package to enable them to play their own music through the day and for their speeches. They also added the ceremony speaker to the package along with myself to play the music for the ceremony, the bridal party and bride entrance song, signing of the register songs and their exit song. It was a truly fabulous day, congratulations again Mr & Mrs Evans!

With Limited sleep after the long day and late night to do it all again. Quick change and load of extra equipment ready for my next venue to be there around 8/9am to do two more very long days at the Folly Inn, supplying all the equipment for artists and bands for the amazing Folly Fest!

FAQ's
Does this mean you have to have a disco before the end of August? NO, you just need to book before the end of August!
Do I need a promotional code? NO, £50 will automatically be discounted when you book.
Will I get £50 off if I book before the end of August but can't/don't pay the booking fee until after? NO, you Must pay the booking fee BEFORE 31st August, if the booking fee isn't paid by then, the price will revert to the original price before the discount.

You can book your disco for ANY time in the future (subject to availability), all you need to do to receive the discount, is pay the booking fee (nonrefundable deposit) before the 31st August 2026!

Did you know, I have around 14 different covers for my booth to suit a variety of events!
These include, happy birthday, wedding (Mr&Mrs, Mr&Mr and Mrs&Mrs), general party type, hearts (for Anniversaries and Engagements), 80's and 90's themed (and hoping to get a 00's one), Christmas, Happy New Year, Halloween, Summer Vibes as well as plain black or plain white and also a plain black Starlight cover which can be used alone or often underneath the booth covers.
I also have covers for my podiums for weddings (congratulations on your wedding day, Bride&Groom, Bride&Bride, Groom&Groom) plain black, plain white or a circle grill effect.

These covers all come included with your booking. If you have a special theme for an event, it is possible I may be able to get a cover to fit your theme (if discussed/booked well in advance and for an extra cost)
It may also be possible to get a personalised customised cover (again, discussed/booked well in advance for the cost of the cover) which you could keep for yourselves.

Are you looking to hire a DJ/Disco for your wedding, birthday, anniversary or for Any event?
Whilst I have very limited Saturdays until the end of this year and for summer 2027, I do still have a few available as well as some Fridays and midweek places so get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
I am currently open for bookings including for 2028. When you book, I always like to have a face to face meeting to discuss all your needs and details for your event to make it as personal as can be.
