Hi, we're Makeney Morris based in Belper, Derbyshire. We're a performance team who are regularly out locally at pubs, village festivals or running a morris workshop. We practice on a Tuesday evening, everything is taught from scratch. We don't expect you to be at every practice or dance-out though!

What a great day we had at Belper 250 a couple of weeks ago. The sun was out, so good to see King Street full of people, stalls, music and dancing. Thanks to the organisers, Crich Brewery and The Railway for hosting us and Ripley Green Garters through the afternoon.

Great evening dance out at The Staggs Head, Darley Bridge with T'Owd Man Morris, Cutlers Gate and Leek Morris. We've not been there before but what a lovely village pub and great dancing from all the teams. Thanks to T'Owd Man for organising it. 🎻🍺
