We're really looking forward to dancing in Derby this Saturday 6th June for Osnabruck 50th Birthday Twinning Event. 🍰There'll be lots of things to see and do around Market Place, Osnabruck Square and Cathedral Green. 🕺🍕

A few photos from a beautifully sunny Milford and their May Day celebrations. 🌞 This year Milford Maids of the Mill were celebrating the Bayeux Tapestry with their unique dance. 🤺 Belper Boom and Gregory O'Regan a fire-breather also joined us for the day. 🔥

We are delighted to be dancing at Milford & Makeney May Day celebrations this Saturday 9th May. It all starts at The Holly Bush Inn around midday, then procession to the Elephant & Peacock and finally onto Milford Primary School. There'll also be Belper Boom, Milford Maids of the Mill, Maypole dancing and cake! This is a free, family friendly event, see you there! 🍰🎻

Happy Mayday from Makeney Morris! 🌄🎼🍻

What a marvellous time we had celebrating the sun coming up on the 1st of May!

We were lucky to have such a beautiful location to dance at and sing too!!

It is getting to that time where we are setting our alarms for ridiculously early for tomorrow morning! However, Makeney are very much looking forward to dancing for mayday!! We will be performing at Allestree Park at 5am! 🌄🎼🍻😴

We had a great time in Belper on Saturday for St George's Day with Black Pig border, T'Owd Man border, Sompting Village morris and Folk Friendzy. Thanks to Crich Brewery, Arkwrights bar and Tylers bar for the refreshments. 🍺🎻

FREE Morris dancing give-it-a-go! 🕺
🕢 We're running a beginners session on Tuesday 27th January at Strutts Community Centre in Belper from 7.45pm - 9.45pm.
🎻Dancers and musicians welcome, no need to book, just turn up. This is a free event, make an evening of it and bring some friends!
Here we're dancing at Derby Folk Festival.
