Can you believe it's only 2 short weeks until the kids break up for the l-o-n-g holidays?! So here it is folks, the annual 'how to stay sane during the summer list of things to do with the kids within an hour of Belper!' obviously do check before setting off anywhere just in case events are already full or cancelled etc! Thank you so much to everyone who came adventuring in the wood this afternoon - it was fabulous to be telling stories out in the fresh air again after so long! It was great to see some 'old' (and tall!) Jelly Rolers who helped me remember the song and had already packed their brave faces - and brilliant that there were new adventurers who joined in today too. I hope you all had lots of fun. I did!

JELLY ROLES ADVENTURE IN THE WOODS UPDATE:
So I have been out to check and due to the amount of standing water on all the access roads coupled with the forecast of strong winds I just don't think it's safe to continue today, sorry to disappoint. I can reschedule on Friday after 1pm, Sat after 1pm or Sunday any time. How do people feel about those options? The forecast looks better towards the end of the week!
