Captive Audience Theatre Performing arts education for 7-18 year olds; Saturday morning classes. Yearly amateur performances (all ages).

Drama can be many different things to different people. We offer Drama classes that will develop confidence, build performance skills and techniques. Providing inclusive Drama lessons for all age groups including 18+ because Drama is not just for Children. Opportunities to take part in community workshops and showcases, CA productions and offering LAMDA tuition too.

I can't believe it is just 6 weeks since we finished The Vicar of Dibley! All the props and costumes have just about been recycled and some set aside for upcoming shows.

Are you familiar with The Full Monty story line? You know there are many highs and lows and laughs in the show, so why not come and be part of it and join the cast of Captive Audience to perform this iconic comedy!

Looking for a black actor to play Horse and supporting female and male actors that are non-stripping roles.

Show dates are 1st to 5th Dec 2026 (no matinee)

Rehearsals are Monday and Thursday Evenings at Strutts Community Centre Belper DE56 1UU. The show will be performed here too. Free parking on site.

The Vicar of Dibley is nearly upon us!

We're on the eve of our last rehearsal before the get in. The 2 days of building, sweeping up, re-jigging, lots of cups of tea and coffee. Then Tech rehearsal and full dress rehearsal. Oh what fun we have had putting this together!

The cast are excited, the WI have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure you are fully entertained. Don't miss it - once the tickets are gone, they are gone. Availability is low!! 👇
