FINAL AUDITIONS TONIGHT TUESDAY 13th
7.30pm at Southbank. All welcome 18+

SPRING SHOW
'The Loves of Cass McGuire' by Brian Friel, directed by Michele Marken.

No preparation needed - just come along ready to read.

The production will be
staged over the last two weekends in March.

Brian Friel’s writing has touched hearts world-wide. The 'Loves of Cass McGuire' is almost prophetic in its portrayal of the returned émigré. Cass finds that she has no place in contemporary Ireland, which has prospered in her absence while she was working in a saloon bar on the wrong side of New York. Her brother’s failure to appreciate the sacrifices she felt she had to make in order to send money home, emphasises the heartbreak for Cass. The play echoes the displacement of emigrants from many countries today who “belong neither here, nor there”.

With a cast of 6 women and 4 men of varying ages, we look forward to seeing you all at auditions!
