Row On Row 2018.
Heel & Ankle Community Theatre Company.
Letters From The Front.
On the 8th November 2018 the Shankill Spectrum Centre was packed with people out to watch Heel & Ankle Community Theatre Company perform Letters From The Front.
This play is a true account, based around genuine Letters sent home by soldiers at the front, starting & stemming out from one letter sent by a nurse to the family of Rifleman Robert Templeton, a Shankill Road Soldier she cared for before his death, during the Great War.
This play will be uploaded at a later date, so I need not go into it too much, however what I will say is this, Heel & Ankle Community Theatre Company have been part of Row On Row Shankill Road from from the start, each year doing their bit to Recognise & Remember the brave men from the Greater Shankill Area who made the Ultimate Sacrifice during the Great War.
This year they excelled themselves, putting over 1600 hours of voluntary work, hard work, into bringing this play, Letters From The Front, to the Shankill Road Spectrum Centre, to Row On Row Shankill Road, & most of all, to the people within the Greater Shankill Area
On behalf of Row On Row Shankill Road I would like to say Thank You to each & every person involved in Letters From The Front, you should all be very proud of yourselves for the part you played, & the story you told.
Thank You.
