Just me again with some market research.
I am wanting to run some sessions for teenage girls. I think there’s such a lack of support for girls this age and there is such a rise in anxiety and lonliness. I would like an event maybe a Saturday evening that they could come to on their own if they didn’t have anyone to come with. But what would they like to do? My initial idea is crafting, making bracelets , or something they can use. But I don’t know teenage girls these days. Do you have any ideas

🌈 What a lovely afternoon at our Celebrating Differences & Diversity workshop! 🌈

A huge thank you to all the children and families who joined us today. We had lots of fun through stories, games, crafts and activities, exploring the things that make us unique and the many things we all have in common.

At a time when Belfast can feel a little divided, it was wonderful to spend an afternoon focused on kindness, friendship and respect, helping our children learn that our differences are something to celebrate. 💛

A special thank you to PCSP for funding this free community workshop and helping us bring families together.

We can’t wait to see you at the next one! ✨

💛 At Acting Up, every child is welcome. 💛

As someone who works with children every day, one thing I know for certain is that our young people thrive when they feel accepted, valued and included.

That’s why I’m so passionate about our FREE Diversity & Celebrating Differences Workshop.

Through storytelling, drama, games and creative activities, we’ll be exploring the things that make us unique, learning about different cultures and experiences, and celebrating the fact that no two people are exactly the same.

The world can sometimes feel complicated, but kindness, understanding and respect are values that we can help our children grow from an early age.

Every child deserves to feel that they belong, and that’s exactly what we aim to create at Acting Up.

🌍 Diversity & Celebrating Differences Workshop
📅 Saturday 13th June
🕒 2:30pm – 3:30pm
📍 Girdwood Hub

✨ Open to all children
✨ Includes storytelling, drama, games and arts & crafts

If your family is finding things difficult at the moment, please don’t be afraid to reach out. I have toys, games and craft resources that I’m always happy to pass on where they’re needed.
