Lit Up was excellent last night. Great turnout and superb considered sets from Rory Jones and Nathan Elout-Armstrong. Just what we needed in a cold January. Open mic turns from (in no particular order) Clive Oseman Gerald Kells Elmien Wolvaardt Mike Baynham Rhoda Thomas K B Miller, Neal the Poet, J Barrett Wolf, Leah Bailey Paul Butterfield Jr, Jeff Cottrill Ian Preznanszky and Anne McCrea.
So glad to hear such a diverse range of poetic voices from Brian Bilston, Wendy Cope, Maya Angelou, Cae Tempest, lyrics by Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell, Elvis McGonigle to Margaret Atwood.
