The Journeymen Project The Journeymen Project are a two person collective in love and life. Leo Boyd and Laura Nelson Leo Boyd and Laura Nelson. Apprenticeship lasts around two years.

They take their name from the German tradition of traveling apprentices (The Journeymen) who wish to advance their craft by working, in exchange for food and shelter. It is an amazing practice that still continues and is widely recognized within German culture as producing master craftsmen. Leo Boyd and Laura Nelson are a partnership working together in a vast array of visual art and community pro

jects in Northern Ireland and beyond. The dream of The Journeymen Project is to work as a catalyst platform showcasing artistic techniques to the community with the intention of inspiring people to Do it for themselves. We are currently working on loads of exciting screen printing projects- together with and inspired by the idea of the democratisation of art :)
