'Stages of Understanding' - A free theatre workshop. Do you live in the Greater Belfast area? Are you interested in theatre?

Bright Umbrella Theatre have organised a free, half day interactive workshop and discussion event exploring how theatre can help bring people together, open up dialogue and strengthen community relations.

Through stories, scenes and shared discussion, participants will consider how drama can challenge assumptions, encourage empathy and help us see familiar issues from different perspectives.

No acting experience is needed, and no one will be put under pressure to perform. Come along, take part at your own pace, and discover how theatre can help build bridges between people and communities. All those attending will be invited to register as volunteers if they have not already done so.

This project is delivered by Bright Umbrella Theatre as part of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, in partnership with Belfast City Council, supporting peacebuilding, reconciliation and positive community relations across Belfast.
