Gemma graduated from Arts Educational Schools, London BA(hons) Musical Theatre.

Theatre credits include: Kate Mullins Titanic The Musical UK / European / International Tour, Original West End Cast Big Fish The Musical (The Other Palace), Alya, Alya In Terraland (COP28 Expo City, Dubai)

Workshops include: P.S. I’m a terrible Person, Pet Shop Boy, Before the Night is Through
Concerts include: Soloist, Celtic Woman Voices Of Angels (UK tour) Soloist, Showman Is Coming (National Concert Hall, Dublin / Grand Opera House, Belfast) Friday Night Is Music Night (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane / BBC Radio 2)
TV: BBC Afternoon Club (BBCNI) Royal Variety Performance (ITV) Olivier Awards (ITV) 

Gemma is currently based in Dubai working as Head of Acting/Singing with Urdang International and Vocal Director of Wellington Singing Scholars. Gemma loves her international work but is so excited to bring vocational training to Belfast this summer and co-direct ‘Musical-In-A-Weekend’ July 2024 alongside Brigid 💛

MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM - Brigid Shine 🎵

Brigid trained as a teacher at St Mary's University, Belfast and taught all over the world from London to Doha, before completing a Master's in Musical Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Theatre credits include: Into the Woods (Northern Ireland Opera) Angela's Ashes (UK tour/Ashcroft Playhouse, London/Irish Repertory Theatre New York), Kiss Me, Kate (Lyric Theatre/NI Opera), Keep Telling Me Lies (Karma Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Secret Cinema), Abigail’s Party (The MAC, Belfast); The Threepenny Opera (The Lyric Belfast/Northern Ireland Opera); Aladdin ( The Waterfront); 1932: The People of Gallagher Street (Green Shoot Productions), The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh), Happy End (Royal Scottish National Orchestra), Urinetown (Edinburgh Festival).

Brigid can't wait to co-direct 'Musical in a Weekend' alongside Gemma this summer.
