World Environment Day ♻️

Visiting us soon? Make it a lower-waste visit with a few easy switches.
Even small changes, like bringing your own keep cup, can make a big difference over time.

No Room at the Flat: A DLA Christmas Story 🎁

Our Upstairs Christmas show is on sale nai! DLA returns with this fast-paced local Christmas comedy set over one increasingly unhinged night in a crumbling Belfast flat.

Horse and Susie are preparing for a bleak Christmas Eve when a baby in a Moses basket appears outside their door with no explanation. Reluctantly bringing it inside 'just until someone comes to claim it’, they quickly find themselves overwhelmed by the situation.

Celebrating 10 years of Patrick J O'Reilly 🎉

As our associate theatre company, we want to mark 10 years of Patrick and Tinderbox's work for theatre audiences and the wider theatre community.

You never quite know what you’re walking into with a Tinderbox show, but you know it’ll be something worth seeing. Funny, energetic, moving, unexpected - sometimes all at once.

Alongside their productions, they’ve also created space for artists through workshops focused on health and wellbeing, while supporting emerging theatre talent on and off stage.

All of this under Patrick’s direction, with a strong artistic vision guiding the work.

Congratulations Patrick, and thanks for everything you’ve brought to the theatre community over the last 10 years.

Meet the Artist: Kwok Tsui

Kwok Tsui's Many Moons Ago presents quiet, process-led paintings that explore themes of belonging and the in-between through materiality rather than direct narrative. His subtractive method - removing rather than adding paint - becomes a metaphor for diaspora identity, where absence, erasure, and memory coexist.

Lubaina Himid Predicting History: Testing Translation

We want to extend a huge congratulations to Lubaina Himid on the hugely successful opening of her exhibition Predicting History: Testing Translation at the 61st La Biennale di Venezia.

We're excited to be presenting the exhibition here at the MAC in 2027 with the generous support of British Council & Art Fund. Lubaina’s practice explores themes of race, identity, belonging and colonial histories which will resonance strongly here in Belfast.
