2022 - Market Place Europe are delighted to announce the award of the Belfast Christmas Market contract for a further 3-5years. We would like to thank Belfast City Council for their continuing confidence in our Company to deliver this prestigious multi award winning Christmas Market. Market Place started the Belfast Christmas Market from a 4 day pilot project in 2004 and developed the market throu

gh various contracts in partnership with Belfast City Council to become the internationally recognised event it is today. We would like to thank all of our traders our staff and all of our who have supported us in the last 17years.

The Belfast Christmas Market contract is awarded through an open tendering process. The current contract covers the delivery of a Christmas Market in the gardens of City Hall. Whilst Market Place Europe welcomes the opportunity to explore expanding some form of Christmas experience across Belfast, this would be a matter for Elected Members to consider and decide, following clear procurement procedures and with careful consideration of the impact on local businesses. We look forward to delivering our award-winning market once again this year and welcoming in excess of 1.2 million visitors through the gates.
