On behalf of all the team at Prime Cut Productions, we would like to express our profound sadness at the passing of the incomparable Michael Patrick. From the hilarious rollercoaster that was My Left Nut, to collaborating on The Border Game (one of the very few normal work experiences of 2020-21) to the brilliance of Lie Low, working with you Mick was nothing but a pleasure and a privilege made ten times more so because of the wonderful human you have always been. Fiercely intelligent, incredibly funny, generous and most of all kind, it has been from the very start, an amazing adventure. Your courage and determination inspirational, few could have achieved that. Our deepest condolences to Naomi, Mick’s mother and family and all of his friends and in particular Oisín with whom he made such wonderful work with us. Rest well, in peace and power - with all our love, Emma, Una and Lorraine xx

Prime Cut Productions, Ireland’s leading independent and award winning theatre company, presents the premiere of a new version of Jean Cocteau’s The Human Voice, by Darren Murphy at the Lyric Belfast Naughton Studio,

12-28 February.

Directed by critically acclaimed Emma Jordan (Little Brother, The Pillowman, The Beauty Queen of Leenane) and starring Nicky Harley (The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Dancing at Lughnasa), this new version is a radical reimagining of Cocteau’s work.
