We are very excited to introduce to you the creative crew of Deaf as a Post by Shaun Blaney as part of

Emma Copland directs the piece and creative captions, with an incredibly thoughtful sound design by Garth McConaghie. Aaron Ross brings his technical and operating expertise to control the sound during the piece and Kristina Laverty will join our team to interpret the final performance in sign.

Deaf as a Post is a story about a man who wears two hearing aids, speaks English and Signs. There is some sign within the play itself, but Féile an Phobail have supported Dandelion Productions to make one of our rehearsed readings accessible. Our performance on Sunday 4th August will be signed by Kristina Lavery.
