This gorgeous image of an inula was created at Helen's most recent watercolour afternoon last Sunday.

Helen is now offering a NEW FOUR-WEEK course in watercolour painting in September on Friday afternoons (4th, 11th, 18th & 25th) from 2.00pm - 4.00pm and all materials will be provided.

It's suitable for all levels, from beginner to experienced, but there are only 6 spaces per class so, if you'd like to come along, please DM Helen directly for more info and to book.

There are also a couple of spaces available for her class on Sunday 20th September.

"Each month has given new life and colour, the garden growing and blossoming from spring through to summer, with its roses, lavenders, apples and figs producing fruit and fragrance to inspire .

These afternoons have brought new people and new ideas to the table allowing a creative exploration of the garden with brush and paint.

WHAT A BRILLIANT CREATIVE WELLBEING WORKSHOP led by Gemma .
Last Friday a group of 6-14 year old boys and girls gathered to slow down, get creative and simply enjoy being present.
They had a sensory walk round the garden, smelling fresh herbs and tasting some of our delicious figs!
This was followed by a painting workshop in the hayshed, with either a forest or an ocean theme and you can see the fabulous, vibrant results here!
The evening ended with a peaceful guided meditation in the walled garden- a chance for the children to relax, reflect and soak up the calm surroundings.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO GEMMA Arc Horizons for this wonderfully generous testimonial.
When we met, just over a year ago, we clicked immediately and, since then, I've loved seeing the results (tangible and otherwise) of what Gemma gives to the young girls and their mums who come to these workshops: confidence, connection and creativity, as well as quiet time and a lot of laughter.

A COCKTAIL WITH A KICK - CHEERS! This is Huntley H***h - a super-smooth, gin-based cocktail created by Chef Jason Kerr Moment, specially for his first alfresco pop-up dinner last Friday.
It was a real pleasure to work with Jason and help make it all the success that it was.
He produced the most delicious three-course meal, inspired by the garden, and featuring some of our own ingredients including damsons, horseradish, mint, rosemary as well as a special early delivery of the first three jars of this year's Oakfield_honey.
Thank you, Jason, for choosing HH for this really lovely occasion, to your fantastic support team of Jodie, Nicole and Rachel for all their hard work BTS and to Nicole for the photos.
