It’s time to meet the team bringing Come From Away to life on the Grand Opera House stage!

Following the success of last seasons ‘The Sound of Music’ in St. Anne’s Cathedral, we’re welcoming back Gary Redpath to bring this remarkable true story to life as Director. He is joined by our resident Musical Director, Colin Scott, and the team is completed by Sean O’Neill who brings a wealth of choreography and theatre experience to the role of Choreographer.

As we embark on our Come From Away journey, we’re holding open auditions for performers from the Global Majority to take on various ensemble and named roles within the production, in an effort to tell the story with authenticity.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in getting involved in, and joining a friendly and welcoming bunch of performers whilst doing so, get in touch!

As the curtain comes down on Guys and Dolls, we just want to say thank you.

To every audience member who bought a ticket, laughed, applauded and supported live theatre with us this week, thank you for being part of the magic and allowing us to do what we love.

To the incredible volunteers, cast, crew, orchestra, wardrobe, set builders and everyone behind the scenes, this show only happens because of your passion, time and hard work.

What a journey, what a company and what a week at the Grand Opera House - until next time!

Belfast’s got people at every corner today… everybody marchin’ for somethin’

But if you ask the good citizens of Runyonland, there’s only one rally worth attendin’ tonight, and it’s at the Grand Opera House.

No placards. No speeches. Just gamblers, showgirls, hot box dancers and a mission band tryin’ to save souls one song at a time.

So escape the hubbub of the streets and join the noisiest bunch in New York instead - follow the fold to the stalls of the Grand Opera House!

It’s a two show day - will we see you there?
