I’ll be singing a couple of songs at at this months Borderlands event. It’s always a fantastic night hearing music and reflections from all sorts of amazing and creative people. Hope you can join us

Please join us on 14th March at the Pavilion Bar for Borderlands. Our theme this month is Solidarity. We’ll be hearing music and stories that resonate with this theme. We’ll be looking at a movement of solidarity which can help us move towards those we disagree with as well as advocating for those who feel silenced and marginalised in society. I think these events can beautifully capture some of the most refreshing and authentic ponderings on life. Some of these reflections come in the form of story and some in song, some in facilitated dialogue. You’ll get it all at Borderlands. Come and join us.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted but I’ve been busy behind the scenes, writing songs, completing a 12 week course on recording and releasing music, recording at home, and I’ve even had the amazing opportunity to play some songs with themes of grace, hope, and forgiveness at a prison near Dublin.

I’m planning to release my first single in the near future and I will be announcing more about that hopefully soon. In the meantime, I hope you’ll join me on Tuesday for what promises to be an amazing and inspirational evening of stories, music, and art. It’s a free event and I’m excited to be performing a couple of original songs, along with others sharing their own stories, music and art.

Tuesday, 13 September, Pavilion bar, 7:30pm. Hope to see you there!

“Fables…of the deconstruction” will be our theme for the next Borderlands on 13th September from 7.30pm. Join us at the Pavilion bar. The religious landscape in Northern Ireland has changed significantly in the last two decades. Come and join a brave space for sacred stories as we listen to vulnerability, bravery and the brilliance of some amazing musicians that join us each week.

Here’s a new song I’ve been working on this week. We are more than our limited, binary constructs. We are love...
Love is breaking through
Love is making all things new
Love is speaking truth
Love is making all things new

Though I feel alone
I know I’m never on my own
And oh, it feels so dark
But the morning light will guide me home

Throwback to 1973! This is my take on Paul Simon’s “American Tune”. Written nearly 50 years ago but seems appropriate for today.

Happy weekend friends! I think we could all use a little bit of light breaking through the clouds...

Passing the time during lockdown...
“Lost With You”
We will love
We will live
We may bleed
But we will give
Our all
When all our hope is lost
But I’d rather be lost with you

Thank you to everyone who has liked my page over the last month! I truly appreciate your support and I look forward to sharing some of my music in the days ahead... in the meantime enjoy one of my favourite songs by Baaba Maal along with Mumford & Sons“, There will be time”. Warning: at the end of the song, you may experience a sudden and unexpected urge to dance, but don’t worry this is perfectly normal. My advice is, just go with it!

Official translation and lyrics for There Will Be Time by Mumford & Sons and Baaba MaalThere Will Be Time is taken from the upcoming EP Johannesburg, out on ...
