Wireless Mystery Theatre produce plays for live performance as well as broadcast. Founded in 2010 by Aislinn Clarke, the company has made a huge impact in the short time it has been in operation. The company has been commissioned by BBC radio 3, 4, BBC Ulster and BBC Scotland, created award winning bespoke pieces for The Arts and Business Awards 2012, the Belfast Festival at Queens, The Ulster Hal
l, and Down Arts Centre. Their production of A Christmas Carol with orchestral accompaniment was broadcast live to thousands of listeners and a live audience of 1000 in The Ulster Hall. The show was rebroadcast on Christmas eve due to demand. Aislinn Clarke is Artistic Director, Reggie Chamberlain-King is the Sound Designer and Dramaturge, and Nicholas Boyle is the Musical Director. The company has worked with some very talented NI based voice/character actors. Auditions to find new people are held once or twice a year.
