Laura Barnett's new novel, Births, Deaths & Marriages, follows a group of university friends brought together by an engagement party, where old passions are reignited and past resentments resurface, and Sarah Gilmartin's latest novel, Little Vanities, explores the distance between the lives we imagine and the ones we live.

We’ve visited imagined worlds, explored real ones, celebrated great writing and filled our rooms with great conversation. From child friendly events, poetry and language to conversations with literary heavyweights, it’s been another day to remember at Belfast Book Festival.

Now that’s what we call a good Saturday! Day three of Belfast Book Festival has been a delight. 📖

From our morning Zine Fair, and readings from young writers, to our evening conversations with Doireann Ní Ghríofa and Miriam O’Callaghan, we’ve had it all. Thanks to all of the authors and speakers who filled our day with anecdotes, advice and inspiration.
