Limelight Belfast Legendary venue in Belfast hosting live music and weekly club nights! The Limelight is established as the most famous venue for live music in the country!

We've hosted legendary shows from the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Jeff Buckley and Manic Street Preachers with the likes of Slayer, Primal Scream, Two Door Cinema Club, Steve Aoki, The Darkness and Disclosure all playing in the last couple of years. The venue is split into five spaces - Limelight 1 (rebuilt in 2012 with state of the art lighting and sound), the original venue now called Limeli

ght 2, Katy's Bar, The Rock Garden and our brand new outdoor terrace - The Little Rock. As well as our regular gigs, we also offer weekly club nights - please see our events tab for details on each! Arguably one of the most acclaimed and loved bands of the time, by both fans and their musical peers alike, The Beta Band formed in 1996. Innovative and singular, The Beta Band’s unique musical and aesthetic approach to everything they did set them far apart from their musical contemporaries. Together for a relatively short period of time, their three albums, The Beta Band (1999), Hot Shots II (2001) & Heroes to Zeros (2004), would nonetheless help define them as one of the most exciting and cherished bands of their generation.

This last six months has seen them reform and play live for the first time since 2004 and reissue their 1998 compilation of early single releases, The Three E.P.’s to much critical acclaim.
