Now this is something a little different today! We are at the Irish National Sheepdog Trials in Stewartstown. It's a truly beautiful setting. Hopefully they'll be just as happy buying wool as they are chasing it around a field 😆
It's a proper family day out!

The new 'Make It' range is simply one of the most wonderful little products around at the minute! Little strands to either hold double with your favourite yarn or use on its own to create a delicate fabric. We've knitted up this fab sample showing twenty rows of garter stitch and twenty rows of stocking stitch. We've used one ball of Drops Kidsilk in Off White. It's really quite incredible to the differences in colour and the subtlety in decoration. We absolutely love them all! And this is only a very small selection of a magnificent collection we have in the shop! There are so many variations to choose from. We think this is a game changer ❤️

We have some absolutely gorgeous new goodies from Rico Design in the shop (and on the website). There’s luxurious Cotton Silk Cashmere DK, which has a slight sheen and is so soft! There’s are 3 additions to the Creative Make It range of fibre to hold along with your main yarn: Pailette, with sequins interspersed throughout; Flöckchen, with pretty soft “flakes”; and Multicolour, which has a long colour change and adds interest to any project. This is just a small selection of the new stock, and my photo really doesn’t do it justice! 😁

Want to continue your knitting or crochet journey? Though we aren’t running the four week classes over the summer, we do have two four-hour summer workshops run by Lesley to bridge the gap! These classes are suitable for anyone who has already been taught the basics and wants to continue the process -it isn’t suitable for beginners (though our Autumn schedule will be released very soon).
The workshops are available to book separately on our website.
10:30am - 3pm on Saturday 25th July and Saturday 15th August
This includes a half hour break for lunch. We have sausage rolls available to buy, or you are welcome to bring a sandwich to fuel the creativity!
These workshops are not suitable for children below 16 years of age.
