Urgent msg to any1 thats dumping at our bonfire ....
There is a sign at the gate that clearly states DO NOT DUMP ON PATHWAY ...ppl are ignoring this and they are blocking the pathway from the public and makeing it unsafe for ppl to travel through .....
This is not the bonfires fault but its giving us a bad name ....
Any one caught dumping like this again will be reported to the council along with the cctv footage ....
Yes there is now a camera up to catch theese ppl .....
Please in future read the sign at the gate or contact our page and wee will happly meet u there to show wers best to drop the wood off ..

Hi Everyone
Over the next coming weeks you will start to notice some activity around the bonfire site. We are starting to collect for the bonfire earlier than usual this year. However as pallets start to arrive we would like to ask the community and other members of the public to help keep the park and the site as tidy as possible. This includes dumping of unwanted items eg: sofas tables wardrobes etc. If you have any of these items that you need disposed off please contact the page before doing so and a member of the bonfire can assist you in dumping your items in the correct manner. We want to keep the park and site as tidy as we can over the next coming months so we have no issues with the council.

Biggest bonfire in the east will be getting lit at 12 with loyalist and dance music playing till late

Kids bonfire will be lit around 9

We also recognise that the bonfire would be nothing without the fantastic community surrounding it. We intend to make the 2023 fire and many more beyond, an event to be remembered by all. A new beginning for us all, with the new page and a committee dedicated to ensuring this bonfire not only survives but thrives. After all, we lead the way.
