For the next lecture in our Contemporary Composition Perspectives series we are delighted to welcome improviser, guitarist and constructor Han-earl Park.

All are welcome to attend – No tickets required!

Improviser, guitarist and constructor Han-earl Park (박한얼) has been crossing borders and performing fuzzily idiomatic, on occasion experimental, always traditional, open improvised musics for twenty years. He is the mastermind behind ensembles including Eris 136199 with Catherine Sikora and Nick Didkovsky; Juno 3 with Lara Jones and Pat Thomas; and Gonggong 225088 with Yorgos Dimitriadis and Camila Nebbia; and has a duo with Richard Barrett.

The lecture will take place in room EQ-111, East Quad, TU Dublin on Thursday February 15th, 4pm-6pm. This lecture is in partnership with Unit 44 in Stoneybatter, where Han-earl will be performing at 7pm after the lecture.
