Act One Theatre School

Act One Theatre School An Acting School for children and young adults based at The Place in Bradgate Road, Bedford, MK40 3DE All prospective pupils are offered a free trial session.

Act One Theatre School began in September 2002 and has been running successfully at The Place Theatre in Bedford since then. There are three sessions each Saturday during term time, one each for Juniors, Intermediates and Seniors. There is a group called Act One Beginners for younger pupils on a Tuesday after school and all these are held at The Place in Bradgate Road, Bedford, MK40 3DE. As well

as offering a variety of group drama activities to all pupils there is the opportunity to enter the Bedfordshire Festival of Music, Speech and Drama for some pupils each year. Act One also offers individual or paired after school lessons to prepare children for examinations set by The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Every year during the Easter and Summer school holidays there are week long holiday courses which are open to all, regardless of previous experience.
