His dream came half true. We got stuck at the bottom of Hyperia. But they didn’t ride evac us… they sent us round as guinea pigs 😂😂

Now I know there was quite a bit of moaning yesterday on our part, and for valid reasons. However, we still had an amazing day. We managed 1 x nemesis; 1x Galactica (single rider); 1 x Smiler (main queue) 1 x Smiler (single); 1 x Hex; 1 x look inside the towers (new to us) 2 x Thirteen (single). 1 x Rita (night) 1 x Wickerman (night). 9 in one day is good going when the queues were soooooooo long. We spoke to one group who’d only managed 1 ride.

TBF we don’t stop… we go from ride to ride and snack the majority of the day. We did also go and look at the corkscrew and the shop! Nachos eaten in the WickerMan queue at the end.

We were really upset that we had saved the free fast track to use on the WickerMan night ride and were told this had to be used by 5pm (Merlin Annual Pass the email to tell us this would’ve been really useful).

Alton Towers a bit of work to do to really rival what’s coming; but we do absolutely love the park (the 17 hour day was worth it!)

Merlin Annual Pass why did you not tell us that we had to use our free platinum fast tracks before 5?! Saved it all day for WickerMan night ride only to be told we cannot use it past 5 and that we should have had an email but “it wasn’t actually sent”. 110 minutes now in a queue and a wasted fast track 😩

“Extensive wait times across all our rides today including single rider queue lines because of the demographic we have on park today.” Let’s blame the customers being the wrong type of customers shall we. It absolutely has Nothing to do with the fact you’ve got s**t operations, lots of rides closed and you’ve let in far too many people for the amount open??????
I was expecting it to be bad because of the weather being good but I feel like all I can do today is moan… it’s a very sad time here at AT. 😢
