📢Art Town Tots parents we need your help!📢

We are currently trying to secure funding to ensure that we can continue to provide these free sessions to families in Houghton Regis.

You can help us achieve this – we need to show how our project supports children’s early development. 🎨We can't wait for our launch-day celebration at Wardown House, Museum and Gallery this Sunday! Find out all about the amazing artists behind The Wonder Houses below...🎨

Meet the artists:

Dionne Ible - A professional Luton-based mosaic artist with over two decades of experience, working extensively with schools and community groups to bring collaborative creative projects to life.

🌟Makes colourful mosaics using small pieces.
🌟Loves making art with communities.
🌟Her work celebrates people and place.

Anne-Marie - A Bedford-based artist that has work in private collections around the world and exhibits regularly. She's a curator for two galleries in Bedford, and is a member of the International Feltmakers Association, an Art Award Supporter and a certified Cultural Provider in The Culture Challenge.

🌟Makes art from many materials.
🌟Likes using old objects to give them new life.
🌟Inspired by nature.

Sarah Harrison - A Bedford-based mural artist and children’s illustrator. They're the Coordinator at London School of Muralism, involving communities in the creative process to transform shared spaces.

🌟Draws pictures for children’s books and magazines.
🌟Makes big artworks in public places.
🌟Believes art can make people and places happier.

Sophie Gresswell - A visual artist, poet and facilitator from Luton with an interest in interconnected heritage and storytelling.

🌟Paints pictures that tell stories.
🌟Explores who we are and where we belong.
🌟Loves making art with communities.

Tamara Nkrumah’s - A Luton-based artist with over a decade of experience, including an art foundation degree and architecture studies. She has exhibited and sold her work and delivers creative workshops.

🌟Uses felt to make playful art.
🌟Loves textures, patterns and bold colours.
🌟Believes everyone can be creative.

Teakster - Multi-award-winning artist specialising in a fusion of traditional Islamic artistic traditions and modern digital techniques.

🌟Creates colourful graffiti filled with patterns.
🌟Inspired by Islamic art and his Muslim heritage.
🌟His artwork is seen around the world.

This May we’re launching a brand-new free museum adventure for curious children: The Wonder Houses at Wardown House, Museum & Gallery!

Made in collaboration with The Culture Trust Luton, our Home Education Network and Luton school children, The Wonder Houses are a new, permanent addition to the museum.

These amazing creations have been brought to life by six talented local artists; Anne-Marie Abate, Dionne Ible, Sarah Harrison, Tamara Nkrumah, Sophie Gresswell and Teakster, showcasing a diverse range of visually stunning artforms.

Seek out six colourful houses to delve deeper into the wonderful world of Wardown’s treasured collection. Be the first to experience The Wonder Houses at our free launch-day celebration:
