Friendly and welcoming group for students of all abilities who are interested in practicing Life drawing. We're located in C4D (B82) on every other Wednesday to get together casually and enjoy a bit of art to take our minds off the stresses of research and studies. We welcome all abilities and can seat up to 20 artists, although we usually run with between 10 and 16 of us. We always pose our model
s under studio quality lighting to create dramatic and sculptural shadows, which makes the job of drawing easier, and the resulting work more impactful. This is a group for any ability, the only pre qualification for entry is the desire to draw and create. Help, support and advice are always freely shared and most people will find working with a group of mixed style and ability something that helps them to find and develop their own style. We ask you bring £10 with you on the night and that covers the cost of the model, art supplies and all the tea and biscuits you want. If you're nervous about coming, ping us a message on here and we'll make sure we do what we can to alleviate your tension. Life drawing is hard, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fun!
