Had a fantastic weekend last week…at the wonderful Tom Clark stone carving course in Martock, Somerset.

It was my first attempt last year, loved it so much, Richard my husband joined me this time….and carved the Portsmouth city emblem

So happy to be able to share my most recent commission. I was approached by a friend of a friend…her husband was leaving his job after many years and they wanted to give him a memorable leaving present. His wife thought a drawing of his favourite Terrier dogs would tick the box. He received it yesterday, and loves it .

A3 size, drawn on drafting film…my first Border terriers,I loved drawing them.

Been busy with life admin, and a pencil commission I can’t share yet, but today I dug my oils out again.

First I returned to my beach painting and tidied up the detail a bit.

Then I returned to a work in progress…vase of flowers…I started off following a video, but ended up doing my own thing ( that’s very me !)
