After 10 great years calling The Mansion its home, Sewing classes for everyone is making the move to pastures new.

Founder and Creative Director, Jane Doxey, has been a big part of the past decade at The Mansion, helping kids and adults to live out their motto, ‘Don’t Dream It, Sew It’, everyday.

A big thank you to Jane and all the KHY staff from over the years for all the memories and for making that corner of the building such a special place!

Join us on Saturday 5th December as the ground floor of Beckenham Place Mansion fills with a curated collection of local and independent businesses, with beautiful things to give, keep, eat, and enjoy at Christmas and beyond.

Falling on Small Business Saturday, we encourage you to shop small, discover something special and meet the people behind the products, all while soaking up the festive atmosphere of the Mansion.

The The Mansion Bar and Café will be open throughout the day, serving warming drinks, festive favourites and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

This September we will be saying farewell to our longest serving Resident Artist, Sophia Lyons | Artist.

After ten years of heading up our Open Studio events and best known for her stunning array of large abstract paintings and beautiful botanical originals, Sophia is off on an exciting new art venture in Lewes, East Sussex.
