SOUL KINDA Wonderful are a multi-award winning band, celebrating the music and songs of The Drifters, The Temptations, The Four Tops and other soul and Motown classics.

This fabulous group breathes new life into songs such as “My Girl”, “Stand by Me”, “Heard It Through the Grapevine” and many more. They will also play songs from the new album “Closer and Closer to You”, influenced by Soul and Motown music.

Richie Sampson was frontman for Foundations, and worked with longstanding members of The Drifters. He remains the mainstay in Soul Kinda Wonderful as their star continues to rise.

Hosted by Beccles Public Hall and Theatre and Mayor Joseph Athorn, the BECCLES MAYOR'S CHARITY BALL returns for a black-tie evening celebrating community spirit, raising funds for the 2026 Mayor's Appeal. This year's appeal is dedicated to Beccles Quay, transforming one of the town's riverside landmarks for residents and visitors alike.

Featuring live entertainment from three local performers: Jack Ollett bringing festival and theatre experience; Jody Chapman, winner of Beccles Got Talent, delivering standout vocal performances; and Shaun Graham bringing polished showmanship from professional residencies at Warners Resorts.

Alongside the entertainment, a charity auction offers local businesses the chance to donate prizes or services, with all proceeds going directly to the Beccles Quay improvement project. (Strictly 18+)
