With one month to go until our 20th anniversary edition, we're excited to reveal more talents joining our after-dark line up, plus some exciting new additions to our music stages! ⭐

Legendary broadcaster and DJ Gilles Peterson ft MC Rob G headlines an electrifying Late Night at the Sunrise Arena, while deep in the Latitude woods, a stunning new late night destination rises from the trees: the Virgin Radio UK Mothership, with Huey Morgan, Goldierocks and Emma B & Edie.

Also joining the after-dark proceedings is Kate Hutchinson, FAT PARTI (a back-to-back between DJs from Fat Possum Records and Partisan Records), Marís, Abbie McCarthy, Kate Whitaker, and Late-night Jazz hosted by Knats. And with more late night announcements still to come, the best is far from over.

The Sunrise Arena daytime programme adds GLU, the fearlessly genre-blending solo project of Queens of the Stone Age bassist Michael Shuman, and Alice Boyd, the South London sound artist and composer whose immersive live performances weave folk harmonies, ambient electronics and field recordings.

The Alcove welcomes Baggio, the South London alt-country ensemble, and Plumm, a London-based vocalist, composer and bandleader.

The sheer breadth of what's in store is astounding. 290+ artists (and counting) across 15 stages of music, comedy, theatre, poetry, dance, literature, podcasts and science. Three dedicated family areas, one oasis of wellness in the heart of the park, a mini mobile-home hamlet in the woods, a forest of science and culture, and a veritable feast of culinary delights. And it's all yours for the taking...

Our 20th edition is so close we can almost taste it. If you're yet to secure your place with us, there's still time, but tickets are limited 👉 https://tinyurl.com/5n6smrh2

Today marks one month to go until we reach our 20th anniversary, and we’re thrilled to welcome even more brilliant minds, speakers and artists to your weekend of festivities.

The Booker Prize returns to Latitude for the second year with an exclusive event featuring Raymond Antrobus MBE, award-winning poet, writer and 2026 Booker Prize judge, in conversation with Gaby Wood, Booker Prize Foundation chief executive and journalist.

Charlie Mackesy OBE returns to Latitude, following his crowning as our Most Important Illustrator of the last 20 years. Mackesy brings his celebrated live show to the Theatre Arena: an hour of drawing and conversation, bringing his beloved characters to life on stage.

A Latitude favourite since the early years of the festival, Adam Buxton's BUG returns with a David Byrne Special featuring Ivo Graham.

Mark Kermode, one of the most distinctive voices in British film criticism for three decades and a beloved Latitude regular, reunites with his Kermode on Film podcast collaborator Jack Howard at The Listening Post.

Gareth Malone is re-forming his iconic Latitude Choir next month, celebrating twenty songs from twenty years of Latitude; think Blondie to Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons to Neneh Cherry.

There's still time to submit your application - we could go on about how fabulous an experience it will be, but members of last year's chorus can testify far better than we can...

The Latitude Choir will be created and rehearsed entirely on-site during the festival weekend with 100 of this year’s attendees, culminating in a breath-taking live performance to open our Obelisk Arena on the Saturday afternoon.

You can find the full details and application form at the link below - warm up your pipes and submit your entry now 🎙️

Temples' name has become synonymous with a band with an adventurous spirit; constantly exploring new ideas.

Now on their fifth album, BLISS (out next Friday!) they shake up the perception of the Kettering-formed four-piece with a record that ventures into electronic territory while staying true to their core DNA. Euphoric and melancholic melodies of late ‘90s dance music blend with psych-tinged riffs and loops to create something fresh.

We can’t wait to welcome them to our Second Stage this summer ✨

In partnership with the BBC, our Children’s Poetry Competition will bring one finalist from each of the six BBC local radio areas to perform their poem live on our iconic floating Waterfront Stage on the evening of Thursday 23rd July, officially opening our 20th anniversary celebrations! And today we are delighted to reveal our six finalists.

From a piano passed down through four generations of one family, to a child tracing the history of technology through her mother’s and grandmother’s phones, this year’s entries reflect the full emotional range of the theme Generations ✍️

Connie (11), the BBC Suffolk finalist, took on the whole sweep of popular music from Baby Boomers to Gen Alpha, finding her own place in that story with a Spotify playlist featuring Dolly Parton, the Goo Goo Dolls and Coldplay.
